A woman who claimed to be armed robbed a credit union in Paso Robles on Tuesday, according to police.
A woman reportedly walked into the bank and demanded money from a teller. She said she had a weapon, but no one saw it, according to police. The woman then left the credit union on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The woman was described as 35 to 40 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 150 to 160 pounds. She was wearing dark-framed eyeglasses, a turquoise blue T-shirt, a tan cap and blue jeans and was carrying a black purse, according to police.
Paso Robles police officers, with help from a California Highway Patrol helicopter, searched the area for the robber but weren't able to find her.
Paso police detectives, crime scene investigators and the FBI are investigating the robbery.
