A man accused of cutting two Pismo Beach police officers with a knife is being held on $1 million bail while facing two counts of attempted murder.
Arthur Groneman, 36, briefly appeared in San Luis Obispo Superior Court on Friday, when his arraignment was continued to Tuesday.
The two officers reportedly tried to arrest Groneman for trespassing Tuesday. During a fight that ensued, Groneman allegedly pulled a knife, and the officers received injuries to their hands.
Groneman also faces charges of assault resulting in great bodily injury because one officer required surgery and another needed stitches to mend the injuries.
