Each day, dispatchers from the seven police departments in San Luis Obispo County take dozens of calls from residents seeking help for issues ranging from minor disputes to serious crimes. Bad manners11:32 a.m. May 6, 2305 Theatre Drive in Paso Robles
A man came to the police department to speak to an officer about a fight that occurred at Target a few days earlier. The man was upset because his ex had not apologized for kicking him.
Unwanted swine2:19 p.m. May 7, 1500 block of Union Road in Paso Robles

A black pig was found in a backyard. The homeowner said it didn’t appear aggressive. Officers called Animal Services, which would not assist because the animal was part boar. Fish and Game was called, but would not assist because the animal was domesticated. The pig eventually ended up in an Animal Services vehicle.
Pill problem8:21 p.m. May 7, 100 block of Riverbank Lane in Paso Robles
A man said he left his pills in the house, and went to the garage for 30 minutes. He said the pills, which had been hidden in his bedroom, then went missing. He wanted a report filed so he could get a refill for the 60 Xanax and an unknown amount of Soma pills. Nothing else had been touched or was missing, and no one was in the house but the man and his wife, who was reluctant to get involved. Officers said no theft appeared to have occurred.
Wrong way12:37 p.m. May 8, Charolais Road in Paso Robles
A man was driving backward on the road. A passerby said the older man appeared confused.
Primitive tool8:04 p.m. May 8, Quarterhorse Lane in Paso Robles
A man was sitting on the sidewalk, hitting his bicycle with a rock. Officers talked with the man, who said he was repairing his bike.
Tin foil time11:43 p.m. May 9, Templeton
A man said his neighbor has a mosquito zapper and the ultrasonic rays are frying his brain. The Sheriff’s Office and CHP had been notified of the report, and were passing on the information in case the man came to the Paso Robles Police Department.
Fired11:07 a.m. May 15, 871 Marsh St. in San Luis Obispo
Someone discharged a fire extinguisher in the elevator of the parking garage.
Work break4:16 p.m. May 15, 860 Pacific St. in San Luis Obispo
A man was sleeping in the stall of a men’s room at a business.
Unwelcome guest6:38 p.m. May 15, 1400 block of Oceanaire Drive in San Luis Obispo
A drunken man walked into someone’s house. He was described as lost and disoriented.
