A Ventura resident was arrested Friday morning in Paso Robles after police there received a call of a suspicious vehicle parked in the 1100 block of 18th Street.
Officers responding to the call found 34-year-old Michael Mohammad Sabzevar asleep in a parked vehicle, according to a news release. Officers determined Sabzevar was under the influence of a controlled substance and placed him under arrest.
He was also found to be in possession of more than one ounce of heroin, along with methamphetamine, cocaine, narcotic pills, and narcotics paraphernalia, according to the news release.
Sabzevar was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession for sale of a controlled substance, transportation of a controlled substance, possession of a narcotic, possession for sale of a narcotic, and transportation of a narcotic — all felonies — as well as misdemeanor possession of narcotics paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance, also a misdemeanor.
