A San Luis Obispo man was arrested Thursday afternoon after allegedly driving drunk and causing a crash that injured a person standing on a sidewalk.
Jeffrey Stein, 29, was driving his pickup truck eastbound in the 300 block of Cerro Romauldo at 4:11 p.m. when he hit a parked car on the south side of the street, according to a news release from the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
A man was loading items into the passenger side of the parked car when it was hit, according to the news release. When the vehicle spun in a counterclockwise direction, the man was hit by the open passenger door and fell to the ground.
The man was taken by ambulance to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

Police said Stein was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was booked into County Jail, where bail was set at $100,000.
