A car driven by a 33-year-old Paso Robles woman rolled over on Highway 101 north of San Luis Obispo on Wednesday as a result of a chain-reaction crash caused by a driver suspected to be under the influence of drugs.
The CHP said that Jennifer Eppert was driving her 2002 GMC north near Reservoir Canyon Road at 12:20 p.m. Alongside her in the fast lane was Jason Johnson, 28, of Atascadero, who was driving a 1999 Mercury. Ahead of him was Alexander Holt, 20, of San Luis Obispo.
For no apparent reason, the CHP said, Holt slammed on his brakes. To avoid crashing into him, Johnson swerved to the right, colliding with Eppert. She lost control of her vehicle, and it rolled over.
Holt was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence and causing injuries. Eppert complained of back and neck pain.

Traffic was reduced to one lane for about an hour after the crash.
