A Pismo Beach man was arrested Sunday for allegedly selling marijuana out of his van.
At 3:20 p.m., someone reported that a man was selling drugs from a parked van in the 100 block of North Second Street.
When Grover Beach police officer arrived, they found three people at the van, according to a department news release. Two of the people were taken to the police station for interviews. The third person was let go.
The van was impounded and 58 grams of marijuana and $5,500 in cash were seized by police.
The van's owner, Robert Daryl Wharton, 58, was later arrested on suspicion of operating a mobile marijuana dispensary. He was booked into County Jail on two felony charges: possession of marijuana for sale and illegal transportation of marijuana.
The second person was released without charges.
