Thursday night’s DUI checkpoint in downtown San Luis Obispo netted four arrests, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
Of the 472 vehicles that passed through the checkpoint in the 500 block of Higuera Street, three drivers were arrested for suspected DUI and a fourth was arrested for driving on a suspended license.
A total of 442 drivers were screened for field sobriety exams. The department said one unlicensed driver was cited and officers issued one traffic citation.
No vehicles were impounded, the department said in a news release.
