Fish fry on Friday
On Friday, the San Miguel Lions Club is hosting a Fall Fish Fry from 4 to 7 p.m. or “until we run out” at the Community Building in the park, behind the library.
The menu features fish, fries, coleslaw, dessert and a drink for only $12 a plate. Eat in or take out.
Thanksgiving Day Masses at Mission San Miguel are at 9 a.m. in English and 11 a.m. in Spanish. For more information, call the Parish Office at 805-467-2131 during business hours.
Advisory council meeting changed
The date for the regular San Miguel Advisory Council meeting has been changed to Nov. 30 because of Thanksgiving. It will be held at 7 p.m. at the Community Building in the park.
The Advisory Council is a liaison between the San Miguel area and the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors and planning department. Plans for significant building and land use in the area are submitted to the council, giving community members an opportunity to comment.
Currently, county planner Brian Pedrotti is assigned to the San Miguel area.
