Spring is a time of welcome at the Cambria Historical Museum, as the monarch butterflies flit among the fragrant blooms. The aroma of the California poppies blends in with the perfume from sweet alyssum, attracting bees which will pollinate the giant elephant garlic which are beginning to set buds. But it is the first flush of all the heirloom roses which has been attracting most of our visitors. Is it any wonder the Cambria Historical Society chose a rose as its logo?
