A ticket to the upcoming 18th annual Cambria Garden Tour is the perfect Mother’s Day present, organizers say. The garden tour, slated for from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19, is a day for exploring six of Cambria’s beautiful and unique private gardens — from a seaside enclave (equipped with its own pizza oven) to a sprawling Leimert landscape, these gardens promise to delight.
The self-guided tour day begins and ends at the Cambria Nursery with a complimentary breakfast and wine/dessert reception. Each garden features gourmet tastes from some of Cambria’s best restaurants as well as local artists and musicians sharing their talents.
Tickets ($35 in advance and $40 at the door) are available at the Cambria Nursery and Florist (2801 Eton Road ), Cambria Chamber of Commerce (767 Main St.), all Coast Unified School District libraries, online at www.CambriaGardenTour.com or by calling the ticket hotline at 909-0052. Advance ticket purchase and carpooling is strongly recommended.
Profits from this event support the children of Cambria through the Cambria Education Foundation.
