Fairies and maypoles will flank Burton Drive in Cambria’s East Village Saturday, April 28, as Heart’s Ease Herb Shop and Gardens and the Cambria Historical Museum renew annual celebrations of spring.
The 18th annual Faerie Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Heart’s Ease, 4101 Burton Drive. The festival features storytelling with Susan Pendergast, crafts, food, music, magic. For details, call 927-5224 or go to www.heartseaseshop.com.
The May Day celebration starts at noon, also at the corner of Center Street and Burton Drive. Maypole dances start at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. The public is welcome to watch or take part.
The museum and book store will be open as usual, and a special sale of heirloom plants raised on site will be available for purchase.
