Comments (0) | Four local teens were arrested after an officer caught them spraying graffiti and destroying decorative concrete blocks at Laguna Lake Park late Saturday night, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
Just before 11:15 p.m., an officer on a routine patrol in the area of the park caught Cody Dylan Kelso, 18, a 16-year-old boy and two 15-year-old girls vandalizing the park facilities, police said.
The four were allegedly spraying the graffiti on a newly constructed park structure and destroying dozens of new decorative blocks that were to be used for the building project, police said.
Damage is estimated tentatively to be several thousand dollars, according to police.
Kelso was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism and booked into County Jail, where his bail was set at $10,000, according to police.
The three juveniles were transferred to county Probation Department custody, police said.
