Comments (0) | Atascadero councilman Tom O'Malley is joining the Americans for Prosperity-California on the south steps of the State Capitol today at 11:30 a.m. to speak out against the state budget crisis. O’Malley and others plan represent California’s taxpayers.
State Chairman of Americans for Prosperity Peter Foy, Ventura County Supervisor Jon Coupal, Taxpayers Association Howard Jarvis and Senate Republican Caucus Chair George Runner are also expected to speak. Also expected to attend are Assemblyman Sam Blakeslee, Senators Tony Strickland and Sam Aanestaad.
O'Malley and Atascadero City Manager Wade McKinney traveled to Sacramento today to meet with Assemblyman Sam Blakeslee and Senator Abel Maldonado to discuss the state's budget impact on the City of Atascadero.
The S.O.S.-Save Our State tour will visit cities across California to speak out against additional tax increases.
