Morro Bay Police have arrested two people in connection with an assault involving a samurai sword June 25.
Officers announced Tuesday that they arrested Jacob Kiser, 27, most recently of Los Osos and Athena Gatti, 20, most recently of San Luis Obispo in connection with the incident in the 400 block of Java.
Gatti was arrested Friday on suspicion of attempted assault with a deadly weapon. Kiser was arrested Sunday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
They were taken to County Jail.
The pair is suspected of assaulting an unidentified person in the home after police were called to a disturbance there and found blood throughout.
People at the home said three attackers were involved in the fight and one was injured from a samurai-style sword.
Police said last week they learned that the attack victim went to Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton for cuts to his hand and forearm that appeared to be from a sword.
Police said Tuesday the investigation was ongoing and have refused to release additional information.
