closeMorro Bay police are investigating the death of a 62-year-old woman who was found unconscious in a tub inside a home Tuesday.
The woman’s husband called police after the woman was found around 12:55 p.m. in the home in the 2400 block of Greenwood Avenue.
Firefighters and San Luis Ambulance personnel tried to revive her, but were unsuccessful, said police Cmdr. Tim Olivas.
She was transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, but further treatment was unsuccessful and she was pronounced dead at the hospital, said Olivas.
Police will join coroners in trying to determine a cause of death, he said. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday. Police are not releasing the woman’s name pending notification of relatives, Olivas said.
