The San Miguel Lions Club is hosting two “Friday Night Ribs” feasts: June 5 and June 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Community Building behind the Library.
Access the alley from 14th Street (one way) or park around the park. Dinners feature ribs, beans, salad, bread, dessert and a drink, all for only $12. Eat in or take home — it is all delicious!
‘A Taste of Tuscany’
On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., follow the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail to “A Taste of Tuscany” with each winery offering complimentary samplings of paired wines and food.

Wine tasting will be offered as usual. Wineries on the trail, which winds east of San Miguel from Cross Canyons Road around to Estrella Road with little side roads along the way, include Four Sisters, Graveyard, Locatelli, Ranchita Canyon, Riverstar, Tackett and Villa San Juliette.
Great stop for grub
For breakfast and lunch, visit the San Miguel Coffee Station and Grill, where the barbecue is kept burning to create delicious sandwiches with great sides.
Try their fresh pastries with your coffee. They also cater and deliver to Camp Roberts. Hours are Monday through Saturday 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call 467-2176 for more information.
Car show a success
The Memorial Day Car Show drew a large crowd and was a big success. See winning cars on Discover San Miguel. On Monday morning everything downtown was neat as a pin.
