The Highway 101 southbound off-ramp at Highway 58 in Santa Margarita will be closed starting early Monday as part of a realignment project.
The off-ramp will be closed from 5 a.m. Monday to 9 p.m. Friday as workers work on a project to realign the southbound off-ramp, according to a Caltrans news release.
Drivers can reach Santa Margarita by taking the Santa Barbara Road exit to El Camino Real.
In addition, there will be intermittent southbound on- and off-ramp and lane closures at the intersection of highways 101 and 58 starting 9 p.m. May 17 until 6 a.m. May 18 and again from May 18 through May 22 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

There also will be intermittent southbound ramp and lane closures from May 17 through May 22 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The $277,000 project is expected to be completed this summer, according to Caltrans. The contractor is Souza Construction Inc. of San Luis Obispo.
