Paso Robles property owners and residents are asked to make sure their lots are cleared of combustible weeds, trash, wood and other debris this fire season.
Property within city limits must have all weeds mowed, disced or otherwise removed from June 1 to Nov. 1, according to the city. Since this is the fourth year of drought and the threat of fire is high, city officials encourage property owners not to wait until June 1, but to keep their land cleared at all times.
For more information or for the names of contractors who do weed abatement and lot clearing, call the Department of Emergency Services at 227-7560.
