A female Cal Poly student reported being attacked by a man who grabbed her, kissed her on the neck and attempted to pull her into his vehicle Saturday near campus, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
The student reported to the Cal Poly Police Department that the assault occurred about 1 a.m. while she was walking in the area of Grand Avenue and Slack Street.
A white vehicle pulled up next to her, and the driver asked whether she was OK, the woman told police. The driver then got out of the car and grabbed the woman by the arm, pulling her toward his vehicle, police said. While the man had a grip on her, he kissed her on the neck before she broke free and ran away, police said.
The woman described the man as a “Hispanic male in his early 20s, with short black hair and an earring in his left ear,” police said. She described the car as either a Honda or Mazda sedan.
