The San Miguel Advisory Council will hold its regular meeting on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Community Building in the park, behind the library at 13th Street.

Principal for a day
Last Wednesday at Lillian Larsen School, eighth-grader Carlos Vargas enjoyed being principal-for-a-day under the tutelage of Principal Judy Bedell.
He purchased the honor for $31 at a recent silent auction held to raise funds for fifth-grade science camp.
During the day young Carlos helped with a kindergarten art project, was consulted by a teacher on a matter of discipline and attended a Friday Night Live Committee (to which he belongs) meeting to discuss Spirit Week.
Doug Rambo remembered
The celebration of life for Doug Rambo will be held on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Community Building in the park.
