The San Miguel Lions Club is presenting a Friday Fish Fry on Friday and Nov. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Community Building in the park on K Street. A generous serving of fish, fries, salad and ice cream is $12.
Eat in with old and new friends or take your supper home to enjoy.
For information, call Lions Pug and Terry Scantlin at 459-4722. Proceeds go toward the summer swim program at the San Miguel Pool, which enables San Miguel youths to swim free and pays for first swimming lessons.
San Miguel Lions meet on the first and third Thursdays of each month at the Community Center at 7 p.m. This club has been active for many years doing uncounted hours of community service.

At the last Electric Lights Parade meeting, it was decided to have a contest to choose the 10 best decorations on San Miguel homes and businesses. The winners will be announced at the parade. So this is a heads-up to give plenty of time to plan and decorate your place and make San Miguel glitter for the holiday season!
The San Luis Obispo Farm Bureau Women is still taking orders for its annual sale of See’s Candy.
Proceeds are used to provide scholarships to high school seniors and college students in agricultural studies. To order, call 467-3565. Candy will be available the first week in December.
