The 33rd annual Morro Bay Harbor Festival will be held Oct. 4-5 and feature live entertainment, food, vendors, games for children, and arts and crafts.
The event, which includes activities throughout the day, will highlight the celebration of this year’s 50th anniversary of cityhood. The events will take place along the waterfront near Beach Street and Embarcadero.
The schedule on the Dan Redell Stage includes the headliner band Beatlemania at 2 p.m. and a Hawaiian shirt contest at 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 4.
The calendar on Oct. 5 includes an oyster-eating contest at 1:15 p.m., the Fabulous Thunderbirds with Kim Wilson at 2 p.m., and a finale of the Zongo All-Stars at 4 p.m.

In addition, the festival will offer a host of activities for kids, including a bounce house and hands-on Marine Mammal Center displays.
On the Starboard Stage, performances will include the Los Osos Middle School and Morro Bay High School choirs, as well as the Morro Bay Pacific Dance Center. No times for those events have yet been announced.
