Pismo Beach City Council agrees to end prayers at public meetings

The Pismo Beach City Council has voted to stop praying at the start of public meetings and end the city chaplain program under an agreement approved at the close of Tuesday night’s meeting, according to a plaintiff in a lawsuit against the city.
