A mobile home burned down to its frame in an industrial area of Oceano early Wednesday morning.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was not determined by late Wednesday, Five Cities Fire spokesman Pete Klein said. Two other RVs parked nearby were damaged because of the severe heat from the blaze.
At about 3:30 a.m., Five Cities Fire responded to reports of an RV fully engulfed in flames on the 1800 block of Railroad Avenue. The RV was parked near the Pismo Oceano Vegetable Exchange, next to a fenced area used for storage of other RVs.
Firefighters contained the blaze by 5:38 a.m.
Klein said the owner told authorities the RV was for sale. Someone apparently had broken into it recently and was using it as a temporary shelter, Klein said.
