The San Miguel District School Board will meet at 6 p.m. today at the Lillian Larsen Library at 1601 L St. Public session begins at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will include a public hearing to discuss implementation of funds for Common Core State Standards for 2014-15. The parade committee needs your help
The San Miguel parade committee will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Coffee Station to continue planning the Sagebrush Days Parade and Peddler’s Faire. The meetings are always open to people who are interested in participating in the work and fun. Ideas and helpful comments are welcome. “Work” includes helping put up signs, assisting with the parade line-up, helping with barricades during the parade, and seeing that vendors find their places. For information, talk to Mike Sanders at the San Miguel Mercantile on Mission Street or call 712-9120. The parade is scheduled for April 26.
