Special guests will be at the Mission San Miguel Fiesta on Sunday.
On Aug. 18, 2012, a group of riders left Mission San Francisco Solano in Sonoma on horseback on the first half of a 600-mile ride to all 21 California Missions “to discover life and land of current communities in their mission era context.” They arrived at Mission San Miguel that September. Following our Fiesta they will set out on the second part of their journey toward Mission San Diego de Alcala. Follow them online at www.thecaliforniamissionride.org.
Calling community gardeners: Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. downtown landscape maintenance will be done on the flower beds that line Mission Street. Bring your gloves and gardening tools and meet at the Mercantile.
