Kelly Work at the San Miguel Coffee Station, next to the Post Office, has a new expanded menu featuring homemade sweets including muffins, cookies and sweet rolls to go with her great coffee.
She now has smoothies and parfaits. Buy six of these items and get the seventh one for half price. For breakfast and lunch, choose a burrito, a melt or sandwich, soup of the day or a tri-tip or grilled chicken salad.
The San Miguel Coffee Station opens at 6:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. on Saturday at 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Sunday. It closes daily at 2 p.m.
School pasta feed

On Sunday, March 17, the Pleasant Valley Community Foundation invites everyone to an old-fashioned, family-friendly spaghetti feed from 4 to 7 p.m. at Pleasant Valley School, 7000 Ranchita Canyon Road east of San Miguel off Estrella Road.
They’ll be serving pasta with marinara or meat sauce, salad, garlic bread, iced tea, coffee and dessert. Tickets are now available at the school. Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children younger than 12.
At the event, tickets will be $12 for adults and $7 for children younger than 12. Tours and exhibits of the historic school will be available.
