The San Miguel Cleanup Day volunteers, who turned out to work in the flower beds downtown, and the Fire Department volunteers, who were there to accept trash — and all who participated on a very rainy day — are to be commended for their help and dedication to make San Miguel a nicer place to live and visit. Thank you, everyone!

San Miguel history
Part one of Ella Adams’ history of San Miguel is available online at Discover San Miguel. Adams wrote extensively about the area throughout her very long life. She was passionate about recording not only history, but daily and significant events of life in San Miguel as well as in her family — a “blogger” in pen and ink long before the computer age. Thanks to her family for sharing this history with us.
I wish you all a most happy Thanksgiving and that you have much for which to be thankful.
