2:45 a.m. May 6, 9300 block of Jornada Lane
Two reportedly intoxicated men were playing football and lifting weights in a parking lot. A neighbor said they had been yelling and making noise for more than two hours. Officers contacted the men and advised them of the complaint, and they agreed to quiet down.
Don’t want to hear it
1:52 p.m. May 6, 6501 Lewis Ave.
A citizen called police to say someone in a white GMC Safari van had tried to talk to the reporting party in front of the junior high approximately three hours earlier.
Gotta find that cap
12:36 a.m. May 7, 6300 block of Santa Ynez Avenue
A resident said someone broke into her car three months earlier and stole a lens cap. She had already reported the theft.
Kick him to the curb 5:56 a.m. May 10, 2100 El Camino Real
A man in his 20s was seen kicking a cart in the Grocery Outlet lot. When someone confronted him, he was uncooperative.

9:49 a.m. May 10, 5700 block of Santa Cruz Road
A resident reportedly defecated on the street.
It’s a jungle
1:26 p.m. May 11, 6900 El Camino Real
A man was seen sharpening a machete. It was determined he was a landscaper trimming trees.
Making a splash
9:29 p.m. May 11, 7900 block of San Marcos Road
A resident heard a male and female in a possible domestic dispute. Officers checked and found the noise had been made by children playing in a pool.
6:23 p.m. May 12, 4300 Portero Road
A resident said he would be blasting gophers for approximately 15 minutes.
