A panel discussion on homelessness in San Luis Obispo County is set for this Wednesday, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors’ chamber in the County Government Center.
Hosted by the Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo, the event includes a viewing of two short films: “Homeless Not Hopeless” and a short video on homeless services provided to some 40,000 persons a year around San Luis Obispo and nine other counties.
Following the viewing, a panel discussion hosted by Supervisor Adam Hill will include Dee Torres from CAPSLO Homeless Services, Patti Diefenderfer representing the 5 Cities Homeless Coalition, and Linda Doust representing the ECHO Overnight Homeless Shelter.
The community is encouraged to attend the free event.
The supervisors’ chambers are located at 1055 Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo.
