The 20th annual Cambria Chili Cook-Off and Car Show will be held Saturday at the Pinedorado Grounds and at the Veterans MemorialBuilding in Cambria at 1000 Main St.
There are 37 cars registered for the show, which starts at 10 a.m. The public may vote for the People’s Choice trophy through 2 p.m.
Entries include a 1928 Ford Model A Roadster, 1936 Auburn and 1958 Morris Minor to a 1967 Shelby GT500, 2012 Dodge Challenger SXT and a rare 2005 Holden Monaro.
Chili sampling, $5, starts at noon and ends at 3 p.m., when judges will announce the winners from among 13 contestants.
Doing the judging will be Marjorie Ott, a cookbook author and co-owner/chef of Olallieberry Inn; Victoria Moreno, a pastry chef/caterer and proprietor of Victoria’s Last Resort bed and breakfast; Chef Deborah Scarborough from Black Cat Bistro; and Jeri and Terry Farrell, Cambria’s 2011 co-citizens of the year.
The Rotary Club of Cambria will offer beer tasting for $3.
