San Luis Obispo County residents should double-check their pockets and purses — the holder of a Mega Millions ticket worth $326,163 and purchased in Nipomo has yet to come forward to claim the prize.
It has been 30 days since someone bought a Mega Millions ticket at the Stop-N-Buy at 459 W. Tefft St. in Nipomo, according to a news release from the California Lottery. The ticket matched the numbers 43, 51, 53, 29, and 28, missing only the Mega number of 7.
Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.
California Lottery officials advise winners to sign the back of their tickets, keep them in a safe place and contact lottery officials or visit a district office as soon as possible.
Mega Millions is a multi-state game, played in California and 43 other jurisdictions, including 41 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
