A man was shot Saturday night in Paso Robles, and police are looking for the gunman.
Around 11:15 p.m., officers responding to a report of gunfire at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of Spring Street found a man who had been shot in the torso, according to a news release from Paso Robles police.
The gunman was described as about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 160 pounds, wearing dark clothes, and possibly a black or dark-colored hooded sweatshirt. He was last seen heading south from the 3100 block of Oak Street, police said.
A newer model white Chevrolet SUV was seen leaving the area at the time of the gunfire, and police said it could possibly be connected to the shooting.

The victim is being treated at a local hospital for his injuries, according to police. His condition was unknown early Sunday.
