Patrick Kimbell, who owns Kimbell-Brown Construction, has been unanimously elected president of the board of directors of the San Luis Obispo County Builders Exchange for the 2011-2012 year.
The exchange, which is the county’s largest contractors association, also elected Fletcher Burton of Anderson-Burton Construction as vice president; Michael Bray of Michael Bray Construction as secretary; and Mel Lininger of Lininger Construction and Trucking as treasurer.
New board members are John Madonna of John Madonna Construction, Michele Miller of J.W. Design & Construction, Richard Pavlich from Wallace Group and Lininger.
They join board members Blair Kirk of Kirk Construction, Jeff Martin of Specialty Construction, Corri Perry of Fence Factory in Atascadero, and Brett Whitaker of Whitaker Contractors Inc.

The Builders Exchange is a nonprofit organization with 700 members from throughout San Luis Obispo County and surrounding areas.
It provides job information, plans, educational and safety seminars and other construction-related services to its members, who are primarily contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to the building industry.
