A 19-year-old woman from Hemet was beaten and robbed in her San Luis Obispo motel room Friday afternoon, San Luis Obispo police said in a news release.
Three assailants came into the victim’s Best Western motel room, threw her against a wall and punched her in the head, and then stole some of her property, police said. The trio then got into a waiting car and fled the scene.
After searching the area, officers found the three suspects in a car at the intersection of Los Osos Valley Road and Madonna Road.
The two males and one female in the car were arrested after officers noticed they matched the description given by witnesses. They also had the stolen property on them, according to police.

The victim was treated by emergency medical personnel at the scene and then taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
Investigators said the suspects were not staying at the motel but had been there Friday likely looking for someone to rob.
The suspects and the victim did not know each other, police said.
The three suspects — Ashley Velneatha Wagner, 19, David Anthony McDaniels, 19, and Michael Holmes-Fuqua, 20, all Bay Area residents — were arrested on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy and are being held in lieu of $30,000 bail at the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
