County/Cal Fire reports that as of 5:15 p.m., the 2,000-acre Antelope Fire that started earlier Sunday in Kern County is now burning in the eastern extreme of San Luis Obispo County.
The fire started about 10:50 a.m. in the McDonald/Anticline Oil Field.
Firefighters from San Luis Obispo County had already been assisting with fighting the fire.
