12:24 a.m. June 5, 12th and Railroad streets in Paso Robles
Officers stopped to talk with a man who appeared to be drunk in public. They determined he had not been drinking; his dinner just didn’t sit well.
Hitchin’ a ride
12:44 a.m. June 5, 6917 El Camino Real in Atascadero
A man said he found someone sitting in his car while it was parked at Galaxy Theatres. Police arrived and arrested the sitter for loitering on private property and being drunk in public.
2:06 p.m. June 5, 900 block of Walnut Drive in Paso Robles
A resident said someone spun out in his driveway the previous night. No damage was done, but he demanded a report.
Things that go bump on the road
3:01 p.m. June 5, Highway 101 in Atascadero
A citizen reported a large bump on the freeway near San Ramon Road that damaged his car. The CHP was advised.

2:26 p.m. June 6, 5335 Cabrillo Ave. in Atascadero
A citizen reported a green Ford Ranger with a sticker on the back stating “unmarked police car.” Officers determined it was a bumper sticker.

6:40 p.m. June 6, 189 Niblick Road in Paso Robles
Panhandlers by the west door of Albertsons were refusing to move on. The two males had a small dog with them. One of the men had a guitar and was crying because it was broken.
8:28 a.m. June 7, 200 block of Oak Street in Paso Robles
A man woke up his girlfriend to tell her to make his lunch for work, and she got hysterical. He put her belongings outside and told her to leave.
1:12 p.m. June 7, 1517 Poppy Lane in Paso Robles
A citizen said he had his guitar taken from his room and he located it at a pawn shop. The man did not want to get the suspect in trouble, but he wanted his guitar back.
2:21 p.m. June 8, 2900 San Fernando Road in Atascadero
A resident reported an unknown man on the property. Officers determined it was a city employee on scene regarding permit issues.
6:10 p.m. June 8, 9315 Pismo Ave. in Atascadero
A citizen said two men near the restrooms at the Lake Park were filling beer bottles with lighter fluid and were trying to make them explode. Officers determined the accusations were unfounded.
9:23 a.m. June 9, 800 Clubhouse Drive in Paso Robles
An employee at River Oaks Hot Springs and Spa said someone broke in to use the hot tubs. Beer cans and cigarettes were left in the area. The same thing happened a couple of weeks earlier. A chocolate cake had been dropped into the tub that time. It was unknown if it was an ex-employee or customer who knew how to make the tubs function.
7:29 p.m. June 9, 210 Myrtlewood Drive in Paso Robles
Four male juveniles were throwing water balloons into their neighbor’s yard, the neighbor reported. The neighbor said it was an ongoing issue, and she had contacted the juveniles and they continued to throw items into her yard. Officers said it appeared the juveniles were having a water fight but left the area before officers arrived.
