More than 4,000 students are eligible to graduate at Cal Poly’s spring commencement ceremonies Saturday at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Spanos Stadium, according to Cal Poly officials.
The university expects as many as 30,000 visitors to campus for the ceremonies.
The morning ceremony will include the College of Architecture and Environmental Design (424 eligible graduates), Orfalea College of Business (572 eligible graduates), and the College of Engineering (1,002 eligible graduates).
The afternoon ceremony will include the College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences (841 eligible graduates), College of Liberal Arts (678 eligible graduates), College of Science and Mathematics (545 eligible graduates), and Continuing Education (39 eligible graduates).
The 9 a.m. ceremony will include the formal investiture of President Jeffrey Armstrong. CSU Chancellor Charles B. Reed and Trustee Vice Chair A. Robert Linscheid will preside.
