A restructuring of district administration and a draft budget are due to be discussed at a special meeting of the Cambria Community Healthcare District on Tuesday.
District Administrator Don Melendy plans to retire soon, so trustees are taking a look at the number of hours worked by the administrator and what duties he or she handles.
The district provides ambulance service along the North Coast from Villa Creek north of Cayucos to the Monterey County line north of Ragged Point and, by contract on the southern end of Big Sur.
The meeting was postponed from the usual date since some trustees would have been unable to attend. Today’s meeting is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Rabobank, 1070 Main St.
