Cuesta College graduates, wearing freshly pressed gowns and smiles, celebrated their successes Friday at the 46th commencement ceremony in the college’s gymnasium.
The 2011 graduating class includes 645 students who completed degree requirements in the fall 2010 and spring semesters. In total, they earned 765 degrees.
The graduates include students from three other countries (Canada, Honduras and India) and five states and range in age from 18 to 66. Among those celebrating was one father and son duo, one set of siblings and a pair of cousins.
Among 112 the graduates who earned honors or high honors by achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher were three who earned a perfect 4.0.
