Scattered showers are expected to continue tonight, according to local forecaster John Lindsey, dropping a quarter-inch to half an inch of rain on the Central Coast by Wednesday morning.
Strong winds reaching 25 to 38 mph along the coast are forecast for Wednesday afternoon, with highs in the 60s around the county, Lindsey said.
Warmer weather should return Thursday and Friday, with highs around 60 degrees at the coast and in the upper 70s to even 80 degrees inland.
