The Lucia Mar Unified School District has hired a new assistant superintendent of business services.
Raynee Daley, the deputy superintendent/chief business official of the Merced Union High School District, will start with Lucia Mar in July. Her annual salary will be $148,235, said Michelle Ellis, assistant superintendent of human resources.
Daley is currently responsible for managing an $85 million operating budget, directing the management of a $149.5 million general obligation bond, and providing oversight to the construction of facilities, according to a news release from the Lucia Mar district. She has 25 years of experience in public education, including in business service operations, human resources, teaching, counseling and administration.
“She brings a great wealth of knowledge and expertise that will help us navigate these challenging financial times,” Superintendent Jim Hogeboom said in the statement.
