5:32 p.m. March 27, 860 Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo

A man was inside Cold Stone Creamery yelling at the customers.
4:44 p.m. March 28, 1800 block Shell Beach Road in Pismo Beach
A resident said a female was selling magazines. She was wearing a tight T-shirt and jeans, and was described as being in her 20s and heavyset. She claimed to be in a contest for “cutest female.”
Too much fun
6:21 p.m. March 28, 1000 Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo
A man who had been drinking was passed out in the game room at Woodstocks Pizza.
7:44 p.m. March 28, Addie Street parking lot in Pismo Beach
Bloody gauze was found in the parking lot.
9:59 a.m. March 29, 200 block Montecito Avenue in Pismo Beach
A white van was driving slowly down the street. It turned out to be an elderly couple looking at the beach.
I don’t want to see those
2:47 p.m. March 29, 100 block of Del Norte Way in San Luis Obispo
Trash cans were stored in the yard at nine residences on the street.
It’s a jungle out there
8:43 p.m. March 29, 829 Marsh St. in San Luis Obispo
A man had a machete attached to his backpack.
There goes the neighborhood
2:27 p.m. March 30, Chorro Street in San Luis Obispo
The lawn was too long at six residences on the street. One home had weeds in the yard.
Louder than thou
4 p.m. March 30, Pier parking lot in Pismo Beach
A man was yelling about judgment day and getting into people’s faces. The man had a gray shirt, gray pants and a floppy hat. The man was advised by an officer.
Not good ball substitutes
5:52 p.m. March 30, 1040 Broad St. in San Luis Obispo
Juveniles were throwing small dogs around the creek area.
2:06 a.m. March 31, 200 block of San Luis Avenue in Pismo Beach
A resident said her neighbor just walked by her residence and yelled that he was going to murder someone. She then heard him enter his residence and start to make strange noises, possibly yelling. Officers arrived and said all the lights in the home were on, and he appeared to be watching TV. The man said he was OK — his pet rat got out of its cage and he caught it and put it back inside.
Blame it on the sun
12:51 p.m. March 31, Sea Ridge Court in Pismo Beach
A resident complained of thousands of students parking on private property and in front of fire hydrants. More than 1,500 people were estimated to be on the beach in the area.
