The National Weather Service has issued an urban and small-stream flood advisory for San Luis Obispo County as rain continues to fall Sunday.
The advisory is due to expire at 6 p.m. Sunday, though forecasters expect rain to continue.
As of 3 p.m. the Weather Service cautioned that showers continue to move across San Luis Obispo County, and more rain was headed into the coastal areas from the Pacific Ocean.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible through the evening, the Weather Service warned.
Heavy showers will likely lead to more flooding for low-lying areas and roads, including small streams, for the next few hours, according to the Weather Service.
