The California Highway Patrol reports that rain and wind has caused damage leading to blockages or closures of roads throughout San Luis Obispo County Sunday.
As of 2:45 p.m., State Park Road in Morro Bay is open from Main Street to the State Park Marina, but closed through the park to South Bay Boulevard because of flooding.
Avila Beach Road is closed between Ontario Road and San Luis Bay Drive because of flooding, according to the CHP.
Thompson Road in Nipomo is closed between Highway 166 and Poague Road.
Also in Nipomo, Highway 1 is closed just north of Division Road at the railway undercrossing because of flooding.
Earlier Sunday, the Morro Bay Police Department closed South Bay Boulevard for a time near Highway 1 expecting that high tide would flood the road. The bridge flooded early Sunday morning and was expected to do so again.
A portion of South Quintana Road and Lower State Park Road were also closed, according to Morro Bay police. Drivers in the area could find the road closed again.
Turri Road was reported closed between South Bay Boulevard and Los Osos Valley Road in the Los Osos area, according to the CHP.
