The schedule of interviews of three finalists for Cal Poly’s vice president of university advancement position has been finalized.
Each of the candidates will hold forums that are free and open to the public. Those forums will be held from 11:15 a.m. to noon at the Balcony Lobby of the Christopher Cohan Performing Arts Center on campus. Here are the days of each candidate's forum:
- John W. Welty, the vice president of development administration with the University of New Mexico will host a forum on Friday.
- Aaron Conley, vice president for development and alumni relations, University of Texas at Dallas, will have his forum on Tuesday, March 1.
- Michael McCall, associate vice president & chief development officer for Cal Poly, will host a forum on March 4.
Each of the candidates has significant experience as part of a fundraising team and has participated in multimillion dollar fundraising efforts.

Provost Bob Koob has been filling the position on an interim basis since the death of Sandra Ogren, who passed away in July after a long battle with cancer.
