The last two finalists to fill Cal Poly's athletic director vacancy have been identified, and on-campus interviews are scheduled to begin this week.
Don Oberhelman, the senior associate athletic director at San Diego State, and Mike "Torre" Chisholm, the current athletic director at Portland State, join Indiana State athletic director Ron Prettyman, whose name became public over the weekend.
The interview schedules for the trio have been released, and there is time scheduled for each to answer questions from the public.
Prettyman will arrive on campus Wednesday and will hold his open forum from 11:30 a.m. to noon Thursday in Mott Gym.
Oberhelman is responsible for "planning, implementation, administration, direction and supervision of the Aztecs' athletic department, as well as all levels of fundraising," according to a bio released by Cal Poly. He will be on campus March 7 and 8 and is scheduled to meet with the public in Mott Gym from 11:30 a.m. to noon on the second day.
Chisholm's bio boasts of growing the Vikings' athletic department budget and revenues by 35 percent and scholarship support by 40 percent as well as securing external funding for a facilities upgrades, including new video and student athlete lounges and locker room renovations. He will be on campus Feb. 28 and March 1 and will also meet with the public from 11:30 a.m. to noon on the second day.
