Two men from San Luis Obispo County are recovering at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Southern California after the small plane they were in crashed in San Bernardino on Monday.
Pilot Lonny Rollins, 39, of San Luis Obispo is in serious condition while his passenger, Greg Fitzgerald, 61, of Paso Robles is in fair condition, medical center spokeswoman Briana Pastorino said Tuesday afternoon.
Rollins is the owner of San Luis Obispo tech firm Innovative Concepts, an online support business.
Fitzgerald is managing partner of Vision-Work Associates in Paso Robles and capital campaign manager for the new Cambria Library project.
Rollins crashed just before noon Monday at a recreational vehicle storage yard about a half-mile southwest of the airport. The pair was reportedly flying on a business trip together.
