Roads and campgrounds closed because of a fire burning near Pozo are expected to reopen Saturday, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
The brush fire, which began about 12:30 p.m. Aug. 21, was contained by 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The campgrounds slated to reopen are Queen Bee, La Panza, Friis, Turkey Flat and Navajo.
Road closures will be lifted at Navajo Road at Turkey Flat and Parkhill Road; Pozo Road at Avanales Ranch Road at the forest boundary; Navajo Road west of Navajo Flat Off-Highway Vehicle Area; and Navajo Road at Redhill Road west of La Panza.

The fire burned 1,151 acres of grass, brush and trees east of Santa Margarita, near the town of Pozo. No structures were damaged, and no one was injured.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation Friday.
